Classroom Expectations

Respect is a fundamental element of my classroom expectations. As a student, I expect you to hold yourself to the following rules. As the teacher, it is not only my duty to ensure these rules are followed but also to set an example through my own behavior. My students (and I) will:
  • Respect yourself
  • Respect your fellow students
  • Respect your belongings and those of others
  • Respect your classroom and your school
Additionally,  you should know that I have a zero-tolerance policy for degrading ethnic, racist, sexist or homophobic statements in my classroom. If needed, I will schedule a one-on-one meeting with students to clarify why their behavior is unacceptable.

Failure to adhere to classroom expectations and exhibit behavior that reflects a successful student and scholar will lead to disciplinary action as outlined in the school student handbook.
